The seed of an idea
One day in 2012 , C.J. Thomas was blessed with an idea that would change the donut marketplace forever. C.J. needed a project for the highly effective kidpreneuer program at IOMTC Church in Tulsa. At the same time, Mark Thomas, Founder of DouCofe, and also a member of IOMTC, needed a brand of Doughnuts for their coffee shop, which would appeal to children. A Great partnership between two families was born.
C.J. and his brother Kris, decided to work together on the project. C.J's prodigious business management skills, and Kris' legendary leadership skills would be brought together to form a great collaboration. The idea had small beginnings but would quickly become national in scope. Two boys were thinking big... really big.
It was determined that Superhero Donuts would be made available for sale in the Tulsa Area, exclusively at DoCofe. Outside of Tulsa, Superhero Donuts would be placed on shelves of various retail stores and churches throughout the country. All worldwide franchise rights would be maintained such that Superhero Donuts retail locations would be designed and a franchise program started.
The two brothers were asked how it would all happen, and they said that God would take care of it all.

The Product
The Brothers wanted a donut brand that was all about superheroes. The process of product design revealed difficulties with regards to the high cost of licensing superheroes from major publishers such as Marvel. It was determined that the project would focus on superheroes from the bible. Jesus the Messiah, Samson, Adam, peter, Joseph, Jonah , and others would all become the basis of our donut flavors. It was determined that we could use donuts to bring children and families to a closer relationship with God.
